Vor exakt hundert Jahren gelangte die Rebsorte Syrah erstmals in die Schweiz. Sie landete im Wallis, wo sie auch heute noch die bedeutendste Rolle hierzulande spielt. Nicht nur hinsichtlich der Anbaufläche, sondern vor allem wegen der Weinqualität, die sie im größten Weinbaukanton offenbart. Der Beweis: unsere diesjährige Falstaff Syrah Trophy.
